Martin Charlton is a strategic thinking
marketing communicator with over 20 years progressive
experience in a wide range of roles and industries.
Part planner and writer, Martin has earned a reputation
for bringing clear thinking, innovation and leadership
to all projects. He practices a highly collaborative
approach and facilitates the involvement of various
stakeholders to achieve consensus on a wide range
of marketing issues.
Martin manages his own consultancy, Content
Matters, which specializes in helping organizations
agree on and express their uniqueness through compelling
and easy-to-read copy.
An excellent trainer and speaker, Martin also teaches
“Writing for Marketing Success” –
a two-day workshop for the Sprott School of Business
at Carleton University.
When not trying to help clients with messaging, Martin
is thinking about the next addition to his garden,
meditating, or playing catch with his son…or
contemplating his next dive (he got his PADI open
water certification in 2008!).
